GENERAL OBJECTIVE

Increasing the education and research capacity of UMF Iuliu Hațieganu Cluj Napoca, through the development of a CLOUD-type infrastructure, will ensure the necessary IT and communication resources both for the storage and use of materials from the university’s didactic activity, as well as the exchange of scientific data at the level European and international.

The new CLOUD resource center will guarantee interconnection with European and international systems owned by important academic centers and research institutes, favoring the achievement of excellence in education-research-development-innovation. Cloud computing services will be provided for building, testing, deploying, and managing applications and services through a global network of data centers used by numerous academic and research organizations around the world, which will lead to increased international cooperation.
